Aligot, els senyor dels camps // Common buzzard, the lord of the fields

L’aligot comú (Buteo buteo) o també anomenat arpellat és de les espècies més comunes d’ocells rapinyaires que habiten les planes o zones de conreus. És de fàcil observació i se’l sol veure sobre els pals de fusta de la línia d’electricitat i arbres; sotjant possibles preses. També és altament possible veure’l sobrevolar els camps a la cerca d’aliment.

Aquesta fotografia fou feta fa un parell d’anys en una zona on s’alterna petites masses forestals rodejades de grans camps de conreus.

The common buzzard (Buteo buteo) is one of the most common species of birds of prey that inhabit the fields or areas of cultivation. It is easy to observe and is usually seen on the wooden poles of the power line and trees, watching for possible prey. It is also highly possible to see him flying over the fields in search of food.

This photograph was taken a couple of years ago in a landscape area where small forest masses surrounded by large crop fields alternate.
